Hi everyone!

My name is Kristine McGuire. I'm a wife, mother, writer & speaker, Biblical Counselor, and former witch, medium, and ghost hunter. The peculiar thing I suppose about my testimony is that I had been a Christian for 29 years before turning away from God. Stepping into a long, dark journey in witchcraft and mediumship for eight years...the final two I actually became a Christian Witch (yep...there are more than you think).

I'm thankful no matter how I tried to turn away, God never let me go. Through a unique set of circumstances...losing my Christian Witch mentor and an experience with a demonic spirit on a ghost hunt...I renounced witchcraft and mediumship, fully re-committing my life to Jesus Christ.

I'm so thankful every day for what God has done for me and my only desire is to share His great love and mercy with anyone who'll listen.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

I am a non-ex-witch, who has been married for 17 years, have 2 step-daughters and 2 step-grandsons. I came to the Lord in 1998 and my husband followed in 2003. I work full-time for my church as secretary and we co-own a bookstore in our town.

Hello and welcome Kristinemac,

I read some of your testimomy from your link and see that you have had a remarkable spiritual journey. I'm relieved that you are well and willing to discuss what you've learned to benefit others. I have several questions since most Wiccans / Witches that I've encountered are Pagan and do not believe that it's possible to be a Christian-Witch. The concept of mediums / necromantic communication, I think I understand, however, I'm curious as to what a ghost hunter is? I confess that the Ghost Buster theme song is what's coming to mind.

As for me, I'm also a non-Ex-Witch, but married my bride who is an ex-Catholic and now Pagan while I was Secular/Agnostic. I've come to find satisfying, if unconventional answers to many of the questions that kept me distant I had only after a lengthy and deep exploration of the Torah, Prophets and Psalms (Tanahk) and the Renewed Covenant writings. Unconvention mostly due to what I've observed while contrasting popular Bible translations with the amplified rendering of the earliest Manuscripts.

I therefore find it difficult to easily describe my self Spiritually. I've come to value relationally knowing and trusting Yahweh and relying upon the atonement of Messiah Yahshua in fulfillment of the first 4 of 7 miqra'ey (Passover, Unleaved Bread, Firstfruits, and Weeks). That this makes possible being born anew from above in Yahweh's Set-Apart, Maternal, Comforting Spirit. given that this is your introduction thread, I'll stop here.

Im an ex occult / spiritualist, now Christian for over 10 years. I ran into a few self titled "Christian Mediums" in my spiritualist years going to their "Christian Spiritualist Churches"....even back then it didnt make sense to me...

Glad you fully re-committed to walking with Jesus
